FMCSA official affirms almost half of truck drivers in fatal crashes were not wearing seat beltsI never heard of a seat belt causing an accident. Distractions, driver over your abilities, driving to fast for conditions not properly pre-planning your trip add to accidents. No seat belt just puts your life and others in danger. It's like gun law debate. Guns only kill when not properly handled or used by a well trained person.
Personally I think a crack down on indegents (haha) coming into the country and subsidized by our government and truck leasing companies running around the country in ungoverned trucks. They have no regards for anyones safety nor care about any regulations.
