Launch Your Trucking Career with MC Carrier LLC's Mentorship Program
MC Carrier LLC offers a unique opportunity for recent CDL School graduates who are struggling to find a good paying job due to lack of insurance. Unlike many other companies, MC Carrier LLC is allowed to hire new graduates and has developed a mentorship program that provides real-life truck driving experience while working alongside a driver mentor. This program offers a fixed weekly salary of $750 per week (prorated when in hometime) for the new driver, allowing them to focus on gaining valuable experience without having to worry about finding their own loads or negotiating pay rates.
The mentorship program requires the new driver to accumulate 600 hours of driving under the mentor’s supervision, which typically takes 10-12 weeks to complete. Once the program is finished, the new driver will be allowed to drive solo and will start to be paid a mileage rate similar to a driver that has 2 years of experience. Starting at 55 cents per mile, this rate offers a great incentive for new drivers to complete the mentorship program and start building a successful career in truck driving.
In addition to offering a great opportunity for new drivers, MC Carrier LLC also provides current company drivers with the chance to increase their weekly income and become mentors. These mentors have the responsibility to properly train new drivers on the safe operation of commercial vehicles while being compensated for the additional work performed. Mentors can make an average of $100k to $140k a year, depending on how many students they take on. This offers a great incentive for experienced drivers to share their knowledge and experience with new drivers while also earning a substantial income.
