What we pay for:
1. Miles
All miles are paid at the driver’s regular rate, from pick-up to drop-off, using truck-specific routing.
2. Detention
Drivers get detention pay for loads that are picked up and delivered on time, but where they had to wait for loading and unloading more than two hours.
3. Loading/Unloading Assist
This will be negotiated with you per load (99.99% touch-free loads) to save you time because time is money.
4. Scale Tickets
Scale tickets are paid for by the company through the Weight My Truck app, after creating an account using your assigned fuel card. We also offer 100% reimbursements if the scale ticket is paid with cash and provide the company with the receipts.
5. Extra Stops
MC Carrier LLC provides $25 per stop; certain stops may be paid different amounts based on the customer.
6. Layover/Breakdown Pay
If you do not get a load, or your truck is in the shop for more than 24 hours, AND you have hours available to drive, you will be paid $70 layover pay per day.
7. Clean DOT Inspections
Different levels get a different amount paid out. Level 1: $150. Level 2: $100. Level 3: $50.

Paid Vacation
Our company drivers work extremely hard, and they deserve a break, so we offer 1 week of paid vacation after a year of employment with MC Carrier LLC. You can earn a second week after 5 years of being part of our team. You need that break, both mentally and physically, so we highly encourage drivers to take the paid vacation when available, but if you choose to continue work and get the vacation pay on top of your pay, you can certainly do that.
Dental and Vision
We want to protect our employee’s health. Taking care of our drivers comes in many forms, and that is why we offer a comprehensive dental and vision plan for our employees after 3 months of employment.
Passengers
Being on the road for days on end can get challenging and a little lonely. That is why we allow passengers on board at no cost after submitting proper documentation to our safety department. Passengers must be 13 years or older and only one passenger at a time.
Top-of-the-line Equipment
Our trucks are top-of-the-line, 4 years old, and newer Kenworth T680s and Freightliner Cascadia, all equipped with power inverts, refrigerators, Sirius XM radio, and APUs. (we retire our trucks after 4 years in the company)
